The Way to Keep in Touch.

A Necessity for a worldwide Wifi Subscription

I have done my fair share of traveling throughout the world and the United States.

If there is one thing that seems to be profoundly lacking, it is subscription service you can purchase to have access to WI-FI throughout the world.

Even within the U.S we have different Airports or hotels with different Wifi availability accessibility with various pricing schemes.

A better alternative is to have one payment and access to a global list of Wi-fi providers.

you can enjoy Wifi, WiMax or any other relevant wireless technology throughout the world for the period that you paid for.

It is quite reasonable to expect a coverage map similar to one provided by Mobile Cellular Network Companies.

Problem:

The Problem is you have devices such as a laptop, IPAD which generally do not easily connect to a

LTE, 3G type of a network. you also may have a phone service in your country of origin that does not provide the best data roaming pricing or speed in any given locality.

Solution:

I want to pay $30-$50 and in turn have access to any kind of Wireleses network in any Country (most developed/touristy countries) for set period of time such a month.

Update:

Somebody asked me "well aren't you asking for Wifi Hotspots?" My answer would be yes. except that most Wifi Hotspots that I know of only operate in a limited country.

below is Figure 1 demonstrating the fact that Timewarner Wifi Hotspots has very limited coverage even within the U.S. let alone in Europe or Asia.
